    • Acting for SpaceNK and Space Brands (including Eve Lom, Margaret Dabbs, Jo Loves, Lipstip Queen) on a range of brand protection and regulatory compliance matters.
    • Advising on all intellectual property matters for leading high street fashion brand. Recent claims have included the protection of the brand through trade mark and design right litigation. Other parties include Levi Strauss, Alexander McQueen, Boohoo and River Island.
    • Bravado International Limited and Danilo Promotions Limited. Hamlins acted on this landmark case in the French Courts to seek a civil action for damages for breach of image rights and unfair competition arising from the unlawful sale of Justin Bieber, Eminem and Lady Gaga calendars throughout Europe. This is the first coordinated image right claim against multiple calendar manufacturers to be bought in Europe.
    • Acting for Phonographic Performance Limited and PRS For Music in the protection of their copyright in sound recordings and musical works. Between them, the collecting societies represent hundreds of thousands of performers, composers and record companies and collect hundreds of millions of pounds per year in royalties and licence fees.
    • Advising TRAP (the industry trade body for the UK music merchandising industry) on issues such as unauthorised copying/counterfeiting of band merchandise, coordinating civil and criminal infringement actions, and dealing with agents, band management and Trading Standards and Enforcement Agencies to execute raids.
    • Advising Models One, a  leading European model agency, regarding the structuring of brands, use of image rights and various arrangements.
    • Advising Iskra Lawrence, the model, social media influencer and women’s rights campaigner, regarding the development, protection and implementation of the EVERYBODYWITH IKSRA brand. This was a unique project which required the development of a new iconic brand and the licensing of this brand to a technology platform to enable Iskra to launch a lifestyle, health and fitness app.
