Ask most property sellers about one of their biggest perennial issues in business and most will respond that it is the time taken for buyers to carry out due-diligence after the initial agreement to transact – which more often than not leads to delays to exchange of contracts.
Sellers are continuously looking for a panacea to this issue. Now, with improved IT, the use of data sites has proved popular at the even earlier stage of bidding – many perceiving that it not only helps to increase the number of potential high quality buyers but speeds up the process between bidding and exchange of contracts.
