Lindsey is a Trainee Solicitor in the Real Estate Litigation Team.

Lindsey deals with a variety of contentious real estate matters for commercial and residential clients. In particular dealing with lease renewals (both contested and uncontested), dilapidations claims, adverse possession matters, injunctions against squatters, possession claims and tenant insolvency issues.

During her training, Lindsey has also worked in the Entertainment and Media department, sitting in the Phone Hacking team, and in the Real Estate department dealing with a number of transactional matters including commercial sales and purchases, licences to assign and licences to alter.

Work Highlights

    Previously a paralegal in the Real Estate Litigation Department, Lindsey was part of the team that dealt with a high-profile case preventing Cavell House, a grade II listed building in central London, becoming occupied by “Occupy London” group on Christmas Eve (Greencap Limited v Persons Unknown). Lindsey was also involved with defending proceedings issued by the Port of London Authority in relation to ancient moorings on the River Thames and instructed in relation to a service charge claim against Westminster City Council for over £2million.
